UTSA (5-4) vs. Louisiana Tech (7-3) Game Preview
Date: Saturday, Nov. 12
Game Time: 3:30 pm
Venue: Joe Aillet Stadium, Ruston, LA
Really, just how good is UTSA?
The Roadrunners have won four of their last five games, stunning North Texas and Middle Tennessee by double digits. But they also needed overtime to get by a miserable UTEP team and only beat a horrible Rice by one.
The offense has starting to roll, with an efficient passing game and good-enough ground game, but can the offense control the game enough to keep Louisiana Tech’s high-octane attack off the field?
No one’s throwing better or cranking up the O more than the Bulldogs, scoring 44 points or more in each of the last five games. The unstoppable passing game should be able to roll at will – as always – but the Roadrunner secondary will win its share of battles to keep it closer than many might think.
The Bulldogs will get up big early, but UTSA will tack on a few late scores.
