Venue: Ladd-Peebles Stadium, Mobile, AL
Network: ESPN3

South Alabama is in a tough spot. It got knocked out of a date with LSU – which it probably would’ve lost, but that’s besides the point – which meant it had to scramble to find a replacement date. Win this game, beat Idaho, and beat New Mexico State, and the Jaguars will get six wins, but it’ll need a special provision to be bowl eligible with wins – if it happens – over two FCS teams, Nicholls State and Presbyterian.

The Blue Hose are in the midst of a tough season, but they get a second FBS payday after losing to Central Michigan 49-3 to start the season.

They can’t run a lick, they can’t score – they averaged nine points per game with 17 points or fewer in nine of the ten games so far. They’re not going to suddenly find their groove now.

Coming off a stunning overtime loss to ULM – when the ground game got ripped apart – USA will clamp down on the Presbyterian offense from the start, while scoring big in the first quarter to put this away early.

It’ll be a far easier game than LSU would’ve been.
