North Carolina (1-1) vs. James Madison (2-0) Game Preview

Game Time: 3:30 pm
Venue: Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill, NC

North Carolina might get more of a push from the 8th-ranked team in the FCS than it did from Illinois.
The Dukes rolled through their first two layups cranking up 810 rushing yard and taking target practice against badly overmatched teams. It all leads up to this. Beat North Carolina, and JMU will show that it really and truly will be ready to make a march on the way to a possible FCS title – or at least into the playoff.
The Tar Heels finally got the offense rolling against Illinois after struggling against Georgia, especially with the passing game.
The O found the balance and explosion that’s supposed to make it one of the ACC’s most dangerous, but before dealing with Pitt in the ACC opener – and then Florida State – it’s going to be a tough day with the JMU ground game.
The Tar Heels allowed over five yards per carry in each of the first two games, and they’ll get torn up by the Dukes, too, but QB Mitch Trubisky should come up with a solid performance to overcome his team’s defensive issues in what’ll be a scary fight that’ll go deep into the fourth quarter.
