Well, weren’t you two a couple of troublemakers last week.

North Carolina couldn’t have known it at the time, but if it had beaten Duke, it would’ve been on top of the Coastal race after the weekend with an outside shot of making the College Football Playoff with a little help. Instead, the Blue Devils picked off NFL scouting love interest Mitch Trubisky a few times and QB Daniel Jones came up with a whopper of a performance to win the rivalry game and set up a shot to go bowling with victories on the road against Pitt and Miami.

Just win one of those, and Duke will almost certainly be in based on Academic Progress Report.

Pitt not only earned bowl eligibility last week, it did it with jazz hands, shocking Clemson and throwing a curveball into the CFP debate – sort of. The Tigers are in if they win out, but now there’s no margin for error.

More than that, it was the second tremendous win of the season for Pat Narduzzi’s program. There’s a chance the Panthers beat two playoff-bound teams if Penn State wins out and gets a shot at taking the Big Ten championship.

Pitt’s offense is fun, exciting, and explosive, hitting the Tigers time and again last week fro huge plays, and it needed to thanks to a secondary that doesn’t have the parts to fit what the coaching staff wants, and it’s getting ripped to shreds.

Duke doesn’t have the air show to throw for over 500 yards like Deshaun Watson did, but the O will keep up the pace for a while.

The Panthers will have too much balance and will be too effective throughout. Duke will come up with some nice offensive numbers, but not enough of them.
