Where are all the ACC teams going this post-season? What bowls are their destiny? Here are the College Football News preseason predictions and bowl projections, looking where the ACC teams will go.
2016 Preseason ACC Bowl Projections
The ACC has a relatively set order on how the bowl projections work. The conference gets a team into the Orange Bowl, even if it has a team going to the College Football Playoff. It also has a few bowl tie-ins depending on what the Big Ten ends up doing.
For example, there’s a trade-off in years with the Franklin American Music City Bowl, and there’s a change to get into the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, again, depending on the Big Ten.
There’s also the Notre Dame factor. Except for the Orange Bowl, the Irish can take any ACC bowl slot as long as it’s within one game record-wise of the conference team that would be the right fit.
So with all that in mind, the 2016 preseason ACC bowl projections are …
